In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism.
Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared.

The following story is told by a foreign diplomat who, as he explains, had occasion to visit the United States Embassy in the capital of his country.
I arrived at a quarter to six, after official office hours, and was met by the Marine on guard at the entrance of the Chancery. He asked if I would mind waiting while he lowered the two American flags at the Embassy.

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) introduced the "Military Readiness Enhancement Act of 2010" last week, which would allow homosexuals and bisexuals to openly serve in the United States Armed Forces.
Lieberman told CNSNews.com that the bill would legalize homosexual and bisexual activity in the military.
